Dear MSSE students,

I am beyond thrilled to be able to serve as the Brittingham Lab Social Entrepreneur in Residence again for the 2020-2021 academic year. I have had the pleasure of getting to know many of you (I've already connected with nearly 1/3 of you, and look forward to getting to know as many of you as possible throughout the year!). I have been blown away by the quality of the students in the MSSE program - your heart, your passion, and your commitment to making a difference have truly inspired me. You are all amazing!

Given the various twists and turns 2020 has already taken, I know it is a difficult time to be a student, especially if you are navigating a career transition or launching a venture. I look forward to being a sounding board, a coach, an advisor, and a cheerleader to help you plan for your future, whatever that might be.

For those of you who haven't yet worked with me, I am open to any of the following, pulling on my own experience as an entrepreneur, intrapreneur, and friend of many social change leaders that I can share stories/examples from to help you:

* Venture Support: Hearing ideas for potential ventures, and helping you vet/refine them. If you are beyond the idea stage, we can work together on any key organizational or strategic challenge you are currently facing.

* Innovating your Career Path: I'm best for folks who are looking to carve new paths, where you might be trying to redesign a role at an existing organization, or pivot to a new sector but don't know how to do it creatively. I can help you reflect on what you really want, think like an intrapreneur, pitch your value, and leverage your network.

* Finding Clarity of Purpose: Many of you have a general direction, but may need support in finding clarity for concrete next steps. We can work together to identify your core strengths/core values, and turn that into a plan related to career growth or venture launch. I can help you see past patterns that might guide your future passions, ask questions to build self-awareness, and help you articulate your "why."

Please sign up for an appointment with me here. Looking forward to connecting with you all soon!

Warmly,

Marina
